| Hublot Launches Classic Fusion Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Couple Watches
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of Ahmed Seddiqi, a leading watch and jewelry retailer in the UAE, and its 40-year partnership, Hublot has launched a limited edition Classic Fusion timepiece, available in 42mm (542.NX.7370.RX.SDQ25) and 38mm (565.NX.7380.RX.1204.SDQ25) models.
Hublot's partnership with Ahmed Seddiqi began in the 1980s, and since then, the UAE has become one of the brand's most important markets globally. Currently, Hublot operates three boutiques in the UAE, catering to discerning collectors.
The 42mm model is 10.4mm thick, and the 38mm model is 9.6mm thick. Both cases are crafted from titanium with polished and brushed finishes, resulting in a lightweight and durable watch. The 38mm model features a gold-plated crown and screws, and a bezel set with 36 diamonds (approximately 1.2 carats). Both watches are equipped with a sapphire crystal and a see-through case back, and are water-resistant to 50 meters.
The dial is burgundy, adorned with the Seddiqi 75th anniversary logo at 12 o'clock. The 42mm model boasts clean, flowing lines and rhodium-plated hands, offering a modern yet understated look. The 38mm model features gold-plated hands and a diamond-set bezel, exuding both elegance and brilliance. Hublot has specially chosen Arabic numerals for both watches to pay homage to the UAE and highlight Ahmed Seddiqi's distinguished heritage.
Both new watches are powered by the HUB1105 automatic movement, assembled from 63 components, oscillating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), and offering a 42-hour power reserve. Notably, the hands operate counter-clockwise, paying tribute to Arabic culture and showcasing the brand's deep connection with the region.
